Inspired by another Nintendo favorite from childhood, Excitebike captures the feeling of momentum—those moments when motion, instinct, and rhythm all come together.
Built through layered passages of color, softened edges, and geometric forms, the composition balances quiet structure with bursts of energy. Fields of pale blue and warm white create space to breathe, while deep reds, charcoal, and saturated accents establish a steady visual cadence. Fine linear details and translucent layers emerge over time, revealing the history of the painting beneath its surface.
Rather than racing toward a finish line, the work reflects the satisfaction of finding your own pace—moving forward with confidence while embracing every twist, turn, and unexpected path along the way.
