Sailing

$900.00

As an artist who paints intuitively, I never really have a plan. I just follow the tools, textures, and techniques I’m drawn to in the moment. Most of the time I have a loose idea of where a piece might go, but my geometric abstractions are the least predictable. They don’t happen as often as my looser, more freestyle work, but they serve a purpose. They challenge me. They’re like a puzzle, and they force me to be more intentional and dialed in.

Somewhere along the way this one started looking like a sailboat cruising with the breeze. And that inspired me and carried me through to the finish line.

30 x 24 x 1.5 inches, Mixed Media
